Privacy policy
Hoogbench collects nothing.
GÜNES CONSULTING OÜ · Tallinn, Estonia · in effect 11 August 2026
Hoogbench does not collect, store, transmit, sell or share any personal data. It has no code that can use the internet, and macOS does not give it permission to use the internet, so there is no way for it to send anything anywhere.
This is not a promise about how the data is handled. There is no data, and there is no channel it could travel down.
What the app does with what it measures
When you run the benchmark, the app records the scores and a description of your Mac — the model, the chip, how many cores it has, how much memory and what graphics it uses. That stays in the app's own storage on your Mac. Deleting the app deletes it. None of it is transmitted.
If you press Export, the app writes a file to the place you choose. That file contains the hardware description above, the scores, and the version of the test suite. It contains no serial number, no identifier, no device name and no account. Where the file goes afterwards is entirely up to you.
What the app does not do
- No accounts, logins or sign-in of any kind.
- No analytics, usage statistics or crash reporting.
- No advertising, and no advertising identifier.
- No tracking, on this device or across others.
- No code, libraries or kits from any other company.
- No uploading of results, and no public scoreboard.
Children
Hoogbench is rated 4+ and is safe for anyone to use, because it collects nothing from anyone regardless of age.
Your rights under the GDPR
Rights of access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability and objection apply to personal data a company holds about you. GÜNES CONSULTING OÜ holds none from your use of Hoogbench, so there is nothing to give you a copy of, correct or delete.
Buying the app is a transaction between you and Apple, not with GÜNES CONSULTING OÜ. Apple is the seller and handles the payment; your name, email address and payment details are never disclosed to GÜNES CONSULTING OÜ. Apple's own privacy policy covers that part, and refunds go through reportaproblem.apple.com.
This website
hoogbench.eu is a handful of static files hosted by Vercel. It sets no cookies, runs no scripts and loads nothing from anyone else, so there is no consent banner to click. Vercel keeps ordinary server logs, as any web host does.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, the date at the top changes with it. Given that the app has no way to send anything anywhere, the only change likely to matter would be an app that could — and that would be a different app, with a different promise, announced as such.
